Egg Carton Mancala Game

Level of Difficulty: Intermediate - Parental supervision required for specific tasks
Estimated Completion Time: 30 minutes
Theme: Games

If winter storms have you cooped up inside but Mom says "NO MORE TV!" try making this great 2-in-1 project...first you get to have fun making it and then you get to play it! Mancala is an ancient game from Africa, traditionally played on a carved wooden board with real stones for the playing pieces. The basic rules are simple enough for a child as young as 4 or 5 to play, but there is strategy to be learned that make it interesting for older kids and even adults.

When you are done, we'd love to see your artwork. Please go to our gallery and upload your finished masterpiece! We can't wait to see it! If you like to Blog, send us a comment and tell us about your experience!
