Creativity for Kids Products Receive Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Gold Seal Awards

(Cleveland, OH)  This year an unprecedented number of Creativity for Kids kits received Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Gold Seal Awards.  The company is excited to announce that 10 wonderful products were selected as award winners.   

Three new kits in the Preschool line received Gold Seal recognition:

• Polka Dot Purse includes an adorable purple canvas tote to decorate with over one hundred peel and stick dots in different colors and sizes.  Personalize your purse with a designer label and add a final touch with a polka dot ribbon at the top. 
• Finger Prints is a fun finger painting set with a twist.  Paint on the plastic sheet provided and then create a transfer print of your painting with the paper and roller.  There are 6 colors of washable finger paint to use, plus a printing tray, printing mat, foam roller, squeegee, sponge, and a plastic apron. 
• Have fun doing open-ended crafting with Big Fun Crafts.  This jumbo set of craft basics includes pipe cleaners, wiggly eyes, pom poms, beads, yarn, felt, foam sticks and more, all in bright colors.  This kit is designed so kids can create whatever they want with the materials.  Scissors and sticky dots also included, and the package can be used as a storage box for all the supplies. 

And two new kits that are boy-based cool crafts also received awards:

• Customize a cool car with Custom Street Machine.  Paint the car however you want, and then add rub-on transfer designs and 3-D stickers.  The car is made of solid wood with chrome-effect rims, and comes with a stand to display your model.
• Create 10 cool paper airplanes with Sky Diver Paper Airplanes [$14.99, age 6 & up].  Follow simple folding techniques to turn sheets of paper with awesome patterns on them into slick airplanes.  Add sticker accents, and then try to land your planes on punch out runways.  A bonus sky diver with a parachute is included.

Plus five more kits were selected as outstanding and fun activities:

• Make some jewelry with an island inspired feel with Tiki Girl Jewelry.  Use natural wooden beads and coconut beads to design bracelets and necklaces.  Plus there are wooden rings for your fingers, and a hibiscus hairclip for your hair.  Draw island designs with a white fine-line pen and add stickers to enhance your pieces.  All the items are packed in a cool tiki-inspired box.
• Store your jewelry is Fancy Felt Trinket Keeper.  Decorate the box with over 100 pretty peel and stick felt shapes.  The keeper has a swivel opening to reveal two velvet-lined shelves inside to store your jewelry and hairclips.  Close the box with a grosgrain ribbon bow.

• My Very Own Horse and Stable includes a wooden stable to construct along with a show horse to live inside.  The horse comes with a blanket, saddle, bridle, and bit.  Decorate the stable with dimensional stickers and color it with paint – you can also use the paint to enhance your horse. 
• Craft with Clay Cool Creations lets you transform amazing air-dry clay into cool creations.  Use 8 colors of soft clay to make anything from animals to aliens to cars.  Add wiggly eyes, fuzzy fur, pipe cleaners, beads, and feathers as embellishments.  There’s also a clay tool to help you shape your creations.
